ABOUT DORIS DALTON
Doris Dalton is the Founder and owner of Doll 10 Beauty and a well-known face on QVC. She is empowering not only to women as a successful business owner, but she is also an inspiration to all by making the world better one person at a time.
Doris survived a rare cancer 10 years ago and faced a stranger in the mirror that just wasn’t her. She had lost her brows and her hair wasn’t far behind. Her skin was ravished, and it was at that time that she found her purpose. Doris went to battle for herself and countless other women like her to reclaim her sense of self. She wanted to design easy to use efficacious products in which women could steal 10 minutes to look and feel their best.
Doris states, “It wasn’t easy, but a true labor of love.” She utilized her scientific background and lab experience from being a doctor, her 30 years of experience in the beauty industry (in front and behind the camera) and all the little secrets she had learned from her Mrs. America days (pageant girls know all the best tricks) to create a line of clinically based colored cosmetics with high performance actives designed to get you “Dolled Up” in 10 minutes or less!
While growing up on a farm in York, Pennsylvania, Doris’ mother worked a full-time job and took night classes to better her career, while still overseeing a household and four children. Her mom always said that Doris could do anything if she put her heart into it. She taught her to work hard and never give up. To this day, whenever Doris is going through something, she calls her mother who always has the right words. Her mother is 76 years old and actively runs a Bed and Breakfast. She inspires Doris who feels that she is simply amazing.
Doris received her D.C. at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Iowa in 1986. She has always worked very hard regardless of what career path she was walking at the time, and she feels that it is her life’s work to help people feel better about themselves.
