MANHASSET, NEW YORK, FEBRUARY 15, 2019 P.O.W.E.R. (Professional Organization of Women of Excellence Recognized) and P.O.W.E.R. Magazine announce their Annual Awards Gala to be held on May 16, 2019 at the Mansion at Oyster Bay.
ABOUT THE P.O.W.E.R. AWARDS GALA
P.O.W.E.R. (Professional Organization of Women of Excellence Recognized) and P.O.W.E.R. Magazine are celebrating empowered women in different industries and professions. Tonia DeCosimo, founder, will be honoring women for their outstanding achievements and dedication in their fields. Names of the honorees will be announced one month prior to the gala. Attendance is by invitation only.
This will be an evening of dining, dancing and celebrating. In addition to the awards, P.O.W.E.R. is also having a silent auction to benefit Mondays at Racine Cancer Care Foundation which is a nonprofit Cancer Care Foundation located in fifteen strategic areas across Long Island, New York, New Jersey and Indiana. This network of salons and spas open their doors every Monday to provide beauty, health and wellness services to men and women undergoing treatment for cancer, all at no cost to the patient. From head shaving, wig care, reiki therapy, esthetics, cosmetics and massage therapy, this program is about treating the whole person, not just the disease. It is a place where solace, support and a sense of community can be found. They are truly changing the face of cancer one Monday at a time. P.O.W.E.R. is proud to support this amazing foundation.
