Linda K. Holt is an expert in financial planning and analysis, with a focus on internal and external customer service. She is experienced in financial reviews and controls, operations performance measurement, and staff motivation to increase productivity and organizational performance. Linda specializes in leadership and team building, financial analysis and reporting, business development, staff recruitment and motivation, accounts payable optimization, performance measurement, full lifecycle project management, internal finance controls, quality assurance and controls, customer satisfaction and retention, and workforce planning. Her work is focused in the Washington, D.C. metro area.
Previously, she served in a variety of financial roles, including as a financial manager with the Xerox Corporation for over 37 years. She has had numerous career highlights. Linda championed enhancements to financial planning application for Xerox Corporation. She enabled labor allocations to be applied in headcount screens to designate individual salaries to time spent supporting each division with $6.9M in monthly labor allocations transferred across 10 organizations. She simplified financial structure by reducing the number of cost centers from 56 to 14 using automated rules resulting in improved accuracy and transparent reporting. Linda saved $42K in headcount. She directed a Lean Six Sigma training financial reporting simplification project and developed process documents, timeline, and business case. Ms. Holt updated the Finance Process guidebook and revised budget worksheets and financial planning documentation encompassing 26 steps, 17+ people, 127 L&D hours, and 5 rework loops.
Linda received her B.B.A. from Roanoke College and her M.B.A. in Finance and Marketing from Virginia Tech in 1980. She has a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certification, Leadership Through Quality, Problem Solving Process, & Quality Improvement Process Certificate and New Employee Quality Training / Train-the-Trainer certification.
Ms. Holt was recently recognized as a Woman of Excellence-Industry Leader. This award recognizes women for their outstanding achievements and high level of success in their industry.
